About The Position

This role involves managing kitchen operations, including equipment operation, ingredient stocking, product preparation, order processing, inventory management, and facility cleaning. Key skills include strong communication, pizza making from scratch, mathematical proficiency, order entry, and team leadership. Open availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have high school degree or GED equivalent
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently and clearly
• Must be able to perform mathematical calculations at a high school level
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to arrive to work on time
• Must be able to consistently arrive at work in uniform and in compliance with appearance standards
• Must be able to stand for 6 to 10 hours per shift
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a frequent basis and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Pizza making from scratch. Make dough, use dough roller, hand press dough onto a pan and top it using our recipes.
• Lead a team with confidence and have the tough conversations with your crew.
