Assistant Kitchen Manager
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to oversee the food program at Kwik Trip 499. The role includes preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example of excellent customer service, helping the team meet daily goals, assisting with merchandising, and ensuring high-quality customer service every day. The position is primarily second shift, with variable shifts, and requires 40 hours per week. The role offers opportunities to develop skills for further challenges and leadership positions within the company.
Requirements
- Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily second shift.
- Great people skills.
- Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to problem-solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
- Desire to help others.
- At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for up to 8–10 hours per day.
