About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead and inspire the Housekeeping team. The role ensures guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Four Seasons' standards for cleanliness and comfort, and supports exceptional guest experiences.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager oversees daily housekeeping operations, including team leadership and scheduling, workload assignments, inspections, maintenance coordination, floor inventory and supplies, and releasing completed guest rooms for occupancy. The position works with other hotel departments and conducts pre-arrival inspections of VIP rooms. The work takes place in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and requires a flexible schedule that may include mornings, days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Requirements

• Two to four years of previous experience in Housekeeping department head positions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and computer systems, including HotSOS, Opera, BirchStreet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Experience in Laundry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach the Housekeeping team.
• Foster high performance through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, assigning and monitoring workloads.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure brand standards are met.
• Coordinate maintenance requests.
• Manage floor inventory and supplies.
• Release completed guest rooms for occupancy.
• Work closely with hotel departments to support a guest experience that exceeds Four Seasons standards and expectations.
• Conduct pre-arrival inspections of VIP rooms.
