About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead and inspire the Housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort. The role ensures guest rooms and public areas consistently reflect Four Seasons’ high standards. The manager oversees daily housekeeping operations, develops and schedules team members, inspects rooms and public areas, coordinates maintenance requests, manages floor inventory and supplies, and releases completed guest rooms for occupancy. The role works closely with other hotel departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience. It includes conducting pre-arrival inspections of VIP rooms and working a flexible schedule that may include mornings, days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Requirements

• Two to four years of previous experience in Housekeeping department head positions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and systems, including HotSOS, Opera, BirchStreet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Experience in Laundry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach the Housekeeping team.
• Foster high performance through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
• Assign and monitor daily housekeeping workloads.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure brand standards are met.
• Coordinate maintenance requests.
• Manage floor inventory and supplies.
• Release completed guest rooms for occupancy.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to deliver a guest experience that exceeds Four Seasons standards and expectations.
• Conduct pre-arrival inspections of VIP rooms.
