About The Position
AIRE Ancient Baths is preparing to open its largest North American location in Los Angeles’ Arts District, in a restored 1930s industrial building. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will help establish and support housekeeping operations at the new center. The role maintains high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence by overseeing daily cleaning activities, supporting and leading the Housekeeping team, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols, and creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for guests and employees.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of team management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a cleaning job or related field.
- Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective conflict management abilities; assertive and cooperative approach.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Support the manager with recruitment, training, and team scheduling, including shift planning and rotations.
- Oversee daily team performance, provide individual feedback, and identify development needs.
- Ensure client comfort in changing areas, address concerns, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
- Uphold AIRE’s standards for appearance, conduct, and customer service.
- Coordinate the Cleaning, Laundry, and Locker teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitor processes, tools, and resources; propose sustainable improvements and assist with stock control.
