About The Position

The Assistant Health Program Administrator will serve as the Youth Suicide Prevention Coordinator in the Department of Health’s Violence and Injury Prevention Program. The position works closely with a part-time evaluator, the Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Grant Director, the Violence and Injury Prevention Program Manager, and other RIDOH staff. It involves regular in-person meetings, possible in-state travel, and occasional community outreach events, for which the coordinator maintains outreach supplies. Some evening and weekend hours are needed for community meetings and events.
