About The Position

The Assistant General Manager helps lead hotel operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience while supporting the General Manager in driving team performance and operational excellence. The role is hands-on and includes overseeing daily staff operations and hotel departments, assisting with budget management, and resolving guest issues. The position reports to the General Manager and offers a potential path to future leadership roles in hospitality, including General Manager, Operations Manager, or corporate-level positions.

Hotel experience is a plus. Applicants should have a college degree or at least two years of hotel experience. Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred, and a combination of education and hospitality experience will be considered. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, communicate effectively in English, and be able to perform the physical activities required for the role, with or without reasonable accommodations. A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed, is required, along with a warm, professional demeanor reflecting HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.

Requirements

• A college degree or at least two years of hotel experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
