About The Position
The Assistant General Manager supports the start-up of a new Werner Final Mile business operation for Bob’s Discount Furniture. The operation uses two-person delivery teams consisting of a driver and helper, who may be employees or independent contractors. The role supports all facets of warehouse and delivery operations, transportation, account management, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment. The position is onsite, full-time, five days per week, with an open schedule and a 4:30 a.m. start time, Tuesday through Saturday.
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical.
Responsibilities
- Support the start-up of a new two-person delivery operation.
- Support transportation and delivery operations.
- Support inventory control.
- Support all facets of the operation and account management.
