About The Position

Tailwind Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of its establishment and work closely with the General Manager. The role helps oversee staff, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe environment while supporting business objectives and delivering an exceptional experience to guests. Requirements

• Management background in food and beverage.
• Strong kitchen and grill experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods.
• Able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Some weekend days, mornings, and evenings are required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to lead the team.
• Ensure staff members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with scheduling staff work assignments.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor food quality and service standards and take action to ensure they are met.
• Verify product temperatures, appearance, and taste, and check preparation methods to assess quality.
• Minimize loss and misuse.
• Ensure alcoholic beverages are served safely, responsibly, and legally.
• Ensure equipment is maintained according to the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain stock levels by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies, and stocking items.
