About The Position

The Assistant General Manager provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction for strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results in selected front-of-house and back-of-house areas, under the guidance of the General Manager. The role oversees business operations from detailed execution to broader performance, and supports a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. The position involves working an average of 50 hours per week, walking approximately five miles per shift, and handling high-volume days.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 5 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
Be proficient in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
Have strong business acumen.
Be able to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience.
Be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.

Responsibilities

Promote positive employee relations, delegate managerial duties effectively, and foster high staff morale.
Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control costs to meet or exceed annual budgets.
Ensure staff training programs are executed.
Ensure staffing levels and management coverage meet business needs and maximize the customer experience.
Deliver an outstanding guest experience through food, drinks, and games.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to operating standards and procedures.
