About The Position

Enmarket is seeking a customer-service-oriented, motivated team member to help provide fresh food, healthy snack choices, and friendly service in its stores. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with daily store operations and mentors team members to provide fast, friendly service and a positive shopping experience. The role supports store maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness, and requires working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Requirements

• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude.
• At least one year of retail experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and process sales transactions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, lift, and bend; the role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and at times up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to access all areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store.
• Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service and a great customer experience.
• Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
• Check in vendor deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliations, and cigarette counts.
• Assist with training.
• Assist the Store Manager as needed.
• Maintain the physical upkeep, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
