About The Position

The Assistant General Manager helps lead restaurant operations at Shake Shack, supporting the company’s commitment to high-quality food, hospitality, and a positive, inclusive team environment. The role involves developing team members, managing operational and financial performance, and ensuring excellent standards of service, quality, and safety. The position offers hands-on mentorship, training, and opportunities for learning and growth.

Requirements

At least 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations.
Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence.
Knowledge of all financial aspects of business operations.
At least 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
