The role involves supporting the General Manager, leading restaurant shifts and employees, maintaining service and appearance standards, and helping manage financial and personnel administration. The position offers an annual pay range of USD $73,000 to USD $85,000.

Requirements

At least 2 years of senior-level management experience in an upscale or fine dining establishment.
Extensive front-of-house knowledge.
Advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Stable and progressive work history.

Responsibilities

Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
Assist the General Manager with financial, personnel, and payroll administrative duties, ensuring they are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
Ensure positive guest service throughout the restaurant; investigate and respond to complaints and take appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests.
Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning, while ensuring consistently high-quality food preparation and service.
Direct employees on operational and procedural matters and develop them through ongoing feedback, clear performance expectations, and performance reviews.
