About The Position

The Assistant General Manager provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction for strategic initiatives and operating standards that positively affect business results across selected front-of-house and back-of-house areas, under the guidance of the General Manager. The role oversees business operations from details to the big picture and works to deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. The position involves working an average of 50 hours per week, walking approximately five miles per shift, and being able to handle high-volume days.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 5 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
Be proficient in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
Have strong business acumen.
Be able to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience.
Be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
Be able to handle high-volume days, walk approximately five miles per shift, and work an average of 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Promote positive employee relations through effective delegation of managerial duties and by fostering high staff morale.
Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control costs to meet or exceed annual budgets.
Ensure staff training programs are executed.
Ensure staffing levels and management coverage meet business needs and maximize the customer experience.

Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
