About The Position
The Assistant General Manager supports and oversees front-of-house operations at a restaurant or bar. This leader inspires staff, encourages teamwork, develops and motivates team members, and helps achieve the collective goals of the restaurants and bars while delivering an enjoyable dining experience for every guest. Responsibilities include supporting coordination between front- and back-of-house teams and helping maintain service standards.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant management experience.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Friendly and personable personality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing invoices.
- Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
- Prepare team members’ schedules.
- Process payroll.
- Monitor compliance with service standards and uniform requirements.
- Support front-of-house operations, develop and motivate team members, and help deliver an enjoyable dining experience.
