About The Position

Chipotle is seeking an Assistant General Manager, referred to in the posting as an Apprentice, to assist with the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and develop toward a General Manager role. The position involves learning to run a strong business, hiring and training employees, and delivering a guest-focused experience. The role works in a fast-paced kitchen and customer-facing environment, with a standard 50-hour workweek that includes evening and weekend shifts.

Ability to work around varied temperatures, taste and prepare food, and communicate with the Chipotle team and customers.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant management experience, including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting.

Responsibilities

Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest experience.
Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, order accuracy, and a positive guest experience.
Train and develop crew members using Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
Ensure digital orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Learn and assist with restaurant operations, including creating and managing schedules, P&L management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing.
Keep the dining room clean and the restaurant guest-ready.
Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
