About The Position

Chipotle’s Assistant General Manager role is an opportunity to assist with the day-to-day operations of a restaurant while developing toward a General Manager position. The role involves leading the restaurant while on duty, delivering an excellent guest experience, training and developing crew members, and learning to manage restaurant operations and business performance. The workweek is 50 hours, including evening and weekend shifts, with applicable overtime paid. The physical work environment is a fast-paced kitchen with customer interaction and variable temperatures.

Ability to stand and walk around the restaurant for 10 hours a day.

Ability to work a standard 50-hour workweek, including evening and weekend shifts.

Previous restaurant management experience, including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting.

Responsibilities

Uphold high standards of hospitality and provide a positive guest experience.
Lead the restaurant while on duty, ensuring speed of service and order accuracy.
Train and develop crew members using Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Learn and assist with day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, P&L management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing.
Keep the dining room clean and the restaurant guest-ready.
Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
