Assistant General Manager
About The Position
The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in leading overall club performance, with a strong focus on sales, member experience, and team development. This role is intended for a future leader who can drive results while developing toward a General Manager position. The Assistant General Manager helps lead membership and personal training sales, coach and motivate staff, support daily club operations, deliver excellent member service, and monitor performance metrics. The role also involves fostering a high-energy, team-oriented environment aligned with Crunch’s “No Judgments” philosophy and participating in leadership development.
Requirements
- Experience in a sales or leadership role, preferably in fitness or a fast-paced service industry.
- Strong sales drive and ability to hit individual and team targets.
- Natural leadership ability and comfort leading by example on the floor in a team setting.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability.
- Passion for health, fitness, and personal development.

Responsibilities
- Assist in driving membership and personal training sales through daily goal setting, lead management, and closing techniques.
- Help train, motivate, and manage front desk and sales teams to deliver high performance.
- Support smooth day-to-day club operations, including cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and staff coverage.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and handle member inquiries or escalations with urgency.
- Monitor performance metrics and contribute to improvement strategies aligned with club goals.
- Foster a high-energy, team-oriented environment that reflects Crunch’s “No Judgments” philosophy.
- Participate in leadership development to prepare for a future General Manager role.
