About The Position

Shake Shack is hiring an Assistant General Manager to help lead restaurant operations and deliver high-quality food and hospitality. The role involves leading, coaching, and developing team members; managing inventory, quality, safety, payroll, and scheduling; and meeting financial and profitability goals. The Assistant General Manager helps maintain operational excellence, drive sales and profits, implement company policies and procedures, support compliance with health and safety codes, and promote the brand in the local community.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
• Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations.
• Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members.
• Strong leadership skills focused on coaching and achieving excellence.
• Knowledge of all financial aspects of business operations.
• At least 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
