About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing the store’s daily operations. The role includes mentoring team members to provide fast, friendly service and ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. The position also supports inventory management, vendor deliveries, required paperwork, team training, and the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities. Full-time work with open availability during the week and on weekends is required.

Requirements

At least one year of retail experience.
General computer knowledge.
Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and process sales transactions.
Good communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to stand at all times.
Must be able to kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store.
Must be able to work any shift within the store’s operational hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service and a great customer shopping experience.
Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude.
Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
Check in vendor deliveries.
Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts.
Assist with training.
Assist the Store Manager as needed.
Ensure the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
Perform other related duties as required.
