About The Position

The Assistant Front-End Manager oversees front-end operations and supports store performance goals, ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role focused on customer satisfaction, operational consistency, associate development, and maintaining store standards. The manager supports associates and supervisors, coordinates daily operations, and helps ensure customers have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate front-end operations to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Support customer service programs and respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide checkout support as needed, including register functions and customer assistance.
• Guide and oversee front-end activities, including scheduling, service levels, and daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a positive front-end environment.
• Manage cash handling processes, including tills, safe counts, reconciliation, refunds, and transactions.
• Monitor inventory and ordering of front-end supplies and materials.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop front-end associates and supervisors.
• Support labor planning, budgeting, and department expense control.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Complete daily reports, payroll processes, and required documentation.
