About The Position

AIRE Ancient Baths is preparing to open its largest North American location in Los Angeles’ Arts District, in a restored 1930s industrial building. The Assistant Front Desk Manager will help establish and support Front Desk operations, guide the Front Desk team, and uphold high service standards. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience through a welcoming environment, genuine care, and personalized attention.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience in a client service setting.
At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service mentality and experience catering to high-end clientele.
Friendly, energetic, outgoing, and personable demeanor.
Strong organization skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and make appropriate judgment calls in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds.
Flexible schedule; weekend and holiday hours are required.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Oversee reception desk opening and closing procedures.
Maintain the aesthetic condition and organization of the welcome and reception area.
Engage with guests, ensure they are attended to, and provide excellent customer service, including resolving issues.
Direct and support Front Desk Attendants and the Host with daily workflows.
Troubleshoot reservation system challenges.
Oversee transactions and manage the payment process.
Monitor gift package supply levels and restock when required.
Enforce the uniform policy across the front desk and reception team.
Communicate regularly with the Front Desk Manager or MOD about workflow disruptions.
Perform other front desk-related tasks as needed.
