Assistant Food Manager
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to oversee the food program and help serve the community. The role involves preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example for excellent customer service, keeping the team focused on daily goals, assisting with merchandising, and ensuring high-quality customer service every day. The position is at Kwik Star 817, with a variable shift and a full pay range of $16.00 to $22.26. Actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency, and internal equity. The position is primarily second shift and requires 40 hours per week. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Kwik Trip shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers, with bonuses ranging from 8–12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability. Requirements
- Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily second shift.
- Great people skills.
- Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to problem-solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
- Desire to help others.
- At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Ability to motivate others to complete tasks and meet goals.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand up to 8–10 hours per day.
- Some weekend and holiday availability required.
