About The Position

Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to manage the food program and help serve the community. The role includes preparing foods, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, modeling excellent customer service, keeping the team focused on daily goals, and assisting with merchandising. The Assistant Food Manager helps ensure the highest quality of customer service every day and maintains a clean, inviting store. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift, with a variable shift schedule. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $23.79; actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency, and internal equity. Kwik Trip shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers, with bonuses ranging from 8% to 12% of gross annual wages depending on company profitability, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily second shift.
• Strong people skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve problems and shift priorities quickly.
• Desire to help others.
• At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for up to 8–10 hours per day.
