Assistant Director of Day Services
About The Position
Mozaic is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Day Services to provide leadership and oversight to assigned Day Services programs in Seneca and Yates Counties. The role works closely with the Director of Day Services to deliver high-quality, person-centered services while supporting program operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance. The Assistant Director will help develop strong teams, strengthen program quality and service delivery, and create meaningful opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position is based across program locations in Penn Yan, Yates County, and Waterloo/Seneca Falls, Seneca County. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for 37.5 hours per week. The stated annual salary is $70,000–$75,000.
Requirements
- Five years of leadership experience.
- A combination of relevant education and/or work experience may be considered.
- Collaborative leadership approach and commitment to quality, person-centered services, and developing strong teams.
- Minimum education and experience requirements may only be waived by the Executive VP of Administration.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to assigned Day Services programs.
- Supervise and support Planning Coordinators and Managers of Service.
- Promote engaging, person-centered programs for the people supported.
- Support staff development, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Help ensure programs meet quality and regulatory compliance standards.
- Collaborate across departments to support positive outcomes, health, and safety.
- Partner with the Director of Day Services to strengthen program quality and service delivery.
- Help create meaningful experiences and opportunities for the people supported.
