About The Position

Peak Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support and assist with all aspects of community operations under the direction of the Community Manager. The role contributes to team supervision, customer service, leasing and marketing, lease administration, resident retention, rent collection, and the management of occupancy and collections.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as an onsite Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Consultant in multifamily housing, hospitality, or a similar field.
• Ability to deal effectively with customers and residents.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in supervising community associates.
• Support and participate in customer service and leasing.
• Assist with leasing and marketing efforts.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Recommend rental rate adjustments or concessions to the Community Manager.
• Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid balances or late fees; communicate with residents about outstanding balances, follow collection procedures, and enforce lease agreements.
• Assist with resident loyalty and retention initiatives.
• Help the Community Manager organize daily work and community operations.
• Collect, post, and deposit rents, security deposits, and other community income.
• Support the Community Manager in maintaining and managing budgeted occupancy, collections, and related targets.
