About The Position

SchoolHouse Staffing is recruiting an Assistant Clinical Director (BCBA) for a growing behavioral health organization in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a leadership role with a strong clinical core. As Assistant Clinical Director, you will maintain an active client caseload while helping support the clinical operations of a center-based ABA program. You will mentor and supervise behavior technicians, collaborate with senior clinical leadership, support treatment quality, and help shape the day-to-day culture of care within the center. This opportunity is designed for an experienced BCBA who is ready to take the next step into clinical leadership without stepping away from direct clinical work. You will have the opportunity to influence clinical quality, develop other professionals, build meaningful relationships with families, and continue growing your leadership experience with support from an established clinical team.

Requirements

Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification.
Arizona Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential or eligibility to obtain it.
Minimum of 2 years of post-certification BCBA experience in a center or clinical setting.
Experience supervising RBTs and conducting competency assessments.
Strong behavioral assessment skills, including experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, or equivalent tools.
Ability to successfully complete required state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

Maintain an active center-based client caseload.
Conduct and oversee clinical assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, or equivalent assessments.
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
Monitor client progress and use data to guide clinical decision-making.
Conduct parent and caregiver training.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Supervise, mentor, and support RBTs and Behavior Technicians.
Conduct competency assessments and provide ongoing clinical feedback.
Help develop the clinical skills and professional growth of team members.
Promote consistent implementation of treatment plans and clinical standards.
Support a collaborative, ethical, and client-centered clinical culture.
Support center scheduling and day-to-day clinical operations.
Help maintain clinical documentation and data integrity.
Collaborate with senior clinical leadership on quality initiatives.
Identify opportunities to strengthen clinical processes and client outcomes.
Help ensure consistent standards of care across the center.
