Damar is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst for a full-time opportunity supporting its residential intensive autism services. The role is responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, collecting data, providing behavioral intervention, assisting the treatment team with behavior intervention plans, and maintaining documentation of services. The program begins with an individual assessment of each child, using observation, parent interviews, and appropriate assessment tools to develop a treatment plan responsive to the child’s needs. Assessments may cover medical, cognitive, academic, psychological, social, educational, and family-support factors. The position serves on Damar’s interdisciplinary team, provides direct therapy when needed, trains staff on client-specific needs, and supports Intensive Autism Technicians with client programming and behavior interventions. The role uses ongoing assessment and data review to guide outcomes, interventions, discharge criteria, and long-term goals, while applying evidence-based practices and the seven dimensions of ABA.
