About The Position

The Assistant Bakery Manager supports the Bakery Manager in the daily operation of the bakery. The role focuses on maintaining efficient workflows and company standards, supervising and developing bakery staff, managing inventory and sales, and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate is organized and motivated, has a passion for baking and a strong understanding of bakery operations, and demonstrates leadership, communication, food safety, and sanitation skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a bakery or food service environment.
• Working knowledge of bakery operations, including baking techniques and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Working knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a bakery setting.
• Experience training and developing bakery staff.
