The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences (KNS) within the School of Integrated Health Sciences invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biostatistics on a 9-month, tenure-track appointment. This faculty member will contribute expertise in biostatistics, statistical analysis, and quantitative research methods across the department and school’s teaching, research, and doctoral education missions. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in statistics and biostatistics, mentor doctoral and other graduate students, and develop an independent and collaborative program of research applying advanced quantitative methods to kinesiology and health sciences. Areas of research expertise may include exercise physiology, sport and exercise psychology, physical activity, sport and exercise science, or related areas of health science. As a 9-month tenure-track position, summer teaching, research, or other activities may be available depending on funding and departmental needs.
