About The Position
As an Asset Protection Partner at Sephora, you will safeguard company assets and help create a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees. Working with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager, you will implement safety and shrink strategies, monitor store activity, and respond to incidents with professionalism and care. You will spend 75–80% of your time on the selling floor, deterring theft, supporting service, and maintaining a safe environment. The role is full-time, with 30–40 hours per week, and requires availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You may also support multiple locations and testify in court on behalf of the company if required.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
- Conflict de-escalation skills.
- Comfort using CCTV and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for 30–40 hours per week and during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness.
- Lead or participate in meetings and training to increase asset protection and reinforce safety protocols.
- Maintain a strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment.
- Partner with store managers to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
- Respond to incidents and de-escalate situations professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience.
- Execute audits and prepare reports for asset protection efforts.
- Adhere to asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple locations as needed.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company if required.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
