About The Position

As an Asset Protection Partner at Sephora, you will safeguard company assets and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees. You will work with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement safety and shrink strategies, monitor store activity, and respond to incidents professionally and with care. The role spends 75–80% of its time on the selling floor and may support multiple locations as needed. Full-time work is 30–40 hours per week, with availability required during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
Conflict de-escalation skills.
Comfort using CCTV and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Promote safety awareness and lead or join meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols.
Maintain a strong store presence, spending 75–80% of working time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with store leadership to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
Respond to incidents and de-escalate situations professionally, prioritizing safety and the client experience.
Execute audits and prepare reports related to asset protection efforts.
Follow asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
Support multiple locations as needed.
Represent Sephora and testify in court on behalf of the company if required.
Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours, maintain punctuality and consistent attendance, and be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
