About The Position

As an Asset Protection Partner at Sephora, you will safeguard company assets and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees. Working with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager, you will support safety and shrink strategies, monitor store activity, and respond to incidents professionally and with care. You will spend 75–80% of your time on the selling floor, supporting service and deterring theft. The role may support multiple locations and may require representing Sephora in court. Full-time work is 30–40 hours per week, with availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
Conflict de-escalation skills.
Comfort using CCTV and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Promote safety awareness and participate in meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols.
Maintain a strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with store managers to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and the client experience.
Complete audits and prepare reports related to asset protection efforts.
Adhere to asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
Support multiple locations as needed.
Represent Sephora and testify in court on behalf of the company if required.
Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours, be available during peak retail operations, and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
