About The Position

As an Asset Protection Officer, you are a visible and welcoming presence who helps create a safe, secure, and service-focused shopping environment. Stationed at key entrances and high-shortage areas, you help deter theft, identify potential risk, support customer and colleague safety, and partner with store teams to deliver a positive experience for everyone who enters the store. This entry-level role is more than traditional security—it is presence with purpose. Asset Protection Officers greet customers, help deter theft, support team safety, and respond calmly during incidents so customers and colleagues feel comfortable, confident, and cared for while the business is protected. Colleagues review updates and department information, welcome customers, and support one another through honesty, care, and collaboration. They strive to improve, take pride in their work, achieve sales goals, and learn from one another to deliver individual and store results. The role uses technology and two-way communication devices and includes incident response, documentation, operational audits, and support for apprehensions under the direction of Asset Protection leaders, Captains, or Detectives.
