Asset Protection Associate "Part Time" Friday & Saturday 6pm-6am
About The Position
Working in distribution center and retail store environments, the Asset Protection Associate maintains the security and safety of company premises and personnel, including the interior and exterior of the assigned location. The associate may also support asset protection needs at retail locations supported by the assigned distribution center. The position is part-time, with a stated schedule of Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The compensation range is $14.85–$19.30. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt team members. Eligible Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center team members may receive a team bonus based on specified goals and KPIs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of related security experience.
- Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers.
- Report-writing experience.
Responsibilities
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstances.
- Professionally confront policy and procedure violators to redirect behavior.
- Inspect buildings and access points.
- Assist the Supervisor in restraining trespassers or other violators.
- Manage vehicular traffic by directing drivers.
- Maintain authorized distribution center truck-yard traffic using company tools and procedures.
- Support investigations by conducting surveillance and gathering facts.
- Complete reports documenting observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintain organizational stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Contribute to Inventory/Asset Protection team efforts and accomplish results as needed.
- Promote awareness of company policies, procedures, and directives.
- Submit new and innovative ideas to improve job functions and company best practices.
- Provide assistance across business groups as needed.
