About the position
As an Asset Management Infrastructure & Front Office Specialist in Switzerland, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure and front office operations within the asset management function. This includes overseeing front office systems, data management, and reporting tools, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of processes and adherence to Swiss regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in implementing and maintaining investment management systems and trade order management systems, while focusing on data privacy and security. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for systems and tools, stay informed about industry trends, and assist with system upgrades and user training.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the infrastructure supporting asset management operations, including front office systems, data management, and reporting tools, in accordance with Swiss regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with front office teams to understand their specific requirements and ensure the availability of necessary tools and technology platforms.
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of investment management systems, trade order management systems (OMS), and other front office tools, ensuring compliance with Swiss financial regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely capture, validation, and reconciliation of investment data across systems, with a strong focus on data privacy and security.
- Collaborate with technology teams to identify and implement process automation and workflow enhancements to increase operational efficiency, while adhering to Swiss data protection laws.
- Support front office activities by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting for systems and tools, taking into consideration Swiss market practices and regulations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements relevant to asset management infrastructure and front office operations within the Swiss market.
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and user training to ensure smooth adoption of new technology solutions, while considering Swiss regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, ITIL) is a plus.
- Proven experience in asset management, with a focus on infrastructure and front office operations, preferably within the Swiss financial industry.
- Solid understanding of investment management systems, portfolio management system such as Blackrock Aladdin, trade order management systems (OMS), and other front office tools, in compliance with Swiss financial regulations.
- Familiarity with data management and reporting tools used in asset management, considering Swiss data privacy and security requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in accordance with Swiss market practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments and adhere to Swiss regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, while following Swiss financial industry standards.
- Fluency in English and French is a must.
