About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking an Assembler II Trainer (1st Shift) - Large Pack - Packaging. The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 per hour. CORE HOURS: 6AM - 2:30PM. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Handle materials that pertain to large part construction, weighing 50 pounds multiple times per day

Responsibilities

• Train all new Assemblers to the Packaging team
• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components
• Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
• Handle 50-pound parts to assist with large part construction
• Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.
• Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
• Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
