Requirements

  • High School Degree/GED Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired
  • Understand gluing and centering to specific tolerances which includes multiple areas/products required
  • If applicable, ability to use function generators and multimeter test equipment
  • Basic proficiency with computers including an ERP system and Microsoft Office required
  • Work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing environment
  • Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test
  • Those working in the Aerospace department must be able to pass a Vision, Color Vision, and Depth perception test
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
  • Good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling parts according to specified Work Instructions and/or Drawings.
  • Effectively completing critical component assemblies.
  • Rotating throughout the facility in a variety of assembly tasks.
  • Using basic Hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies.
  • Using circular saws, deburring tools to complete modified assemblies.
  • Using laser etcher, dot peen etcher and engraver to complete modified assemblies to customer specifications.
  • Calibrating gas to test sensors.
  • Using basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required for a specific job and make adjustments when needed.
  • Using Production system to record day-to-day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work.
  • Navigating through basic LX screens to identify Inventory requirements and status as needed and utilize system as required to make adjustments.
  • Taking initiative to ensure priority items are completed and when needed seeking out additional information from lead or Supervisor.
  • Participating and Contributing to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost continuous improvement efforts.
  • Training others in the department.
  • Performing basic 5S and Lean concepts to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.
