Requirements

  • 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or production experience.
  • Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15). A U.S. Person includes a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or individual granted asylum or refugee status in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with fabrication equipment, cutting tools, or manufacturing machinery is preferred.
  • Experience with hot melt gluing applications is preferred.
  • Experience operating Water Jets, saws, die cutting equipment, or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow part drawings, Bills of Materials, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Layout, assemble, and construct foam sub-components and inserts for both new and repeat customer requirements.
  • Maximize material utilization while supporting efficient production processes.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including vertical, horizontal, and profile saws, die cutting presses, glue applicators, and Water Jet equipment.
  • Select materials and cut foam stock to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Access production files through the company network and operate Water Jet equipment to produce precision foam components.
  • Adjust machine settings and operating parameters based on foam specifications and production requirements.
  • Inspect foam components and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform gluing and lamination operations to assemble finished foam products.
  • Identify and communicate equipment, material, or program issues to leadership as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
