About The Position

BASX is hiring entry-level assemblers to support production operations. Employees work on a fast-paced assembly line, rotating among assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping positions. The role offers an opportunity to learn multiple trade skills and develop a manufacturing career. Starting base pay is $21.50, based upon experience. The listed shift is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with hand tools, tape measures, and power tools.
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and self-starter qualities.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform bending, stooping, crouching, and climbing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work from ladders.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet with harness and fall protection.
• Eye protection and safety-toe shoes are required; hearing protection is sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between assembly-line positions such as assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping.
• Use power tools and work with caulking.
• Clean units before they are wrapped.
• Work effectively in large and small teams in a construction and manufacturing environment.
