About The Position

The Machine Operator prepares and operates production machines, supports daily production runs, monitors equipment performance, checks product quality, and helps meet production targets. The role is performed indoors in a manufacturing facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized. It requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. The position is safety-sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Employees must follow company safety and operational policies and wear required personal protective equipment. Duties may change, and additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions frequently throughout the shift.
Fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery.
Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices.
Ability to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators.
Compliance with company safety and operational policies.
Must wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities

Load production files and prepare machines for operation according to instructions.
Assist in setting up and adjusting equipment for daily production runs.
Monitor machine performance and report issues or irregularities to supervisors.
Perform basic visual inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.
Collaborate with other operators and team members to meet production targets.
Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
