About The Position

The Restaurant Server Assistant supports efficient service at Loews Atlanta Hotel by maintaining clean, organized dining spaces and assisting servers throughout the guest experience with bussing tables and running food. The role helps create a welcoming environment where guests feel cared for from start to finish. The position requires working varying schedules to reflect business needs, including weekends and holidays, and regular, reliable attendance.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, dishes, and supplies.

• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables quickly and thoroughly.
• Reset tables with clean linens, utensils, glassware, and menus.
• Support servers by delivering food, beverages, condiments, and guest requests.
• Refill water and beverages as needed to enhance service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, floors, service stations, and tray stands.
• Remove trash and keep waste areas tidy and sanitary.
• Respond promptly to spills to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Stock service areas with silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist with restocking items needed during service.
• Help prepare dining areas for the next shift or meal period.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests when approached.
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
• Work varying schedules to reflect business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
