About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Security Officer to support a government corrections location in Clinton, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard personnel, visitors, and the public by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and providing professional customer service and communication. The role offers access to a shift-claim platform for exploring additional shifts and building a schedule. The stated schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public at a government corrections location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as directed.
Document activity and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity records in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
