Requirements

Current Guard Card.
Current Exposed Firearm Permit.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certifications.
One to two years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or the military.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of security and safety protocols.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or run for long periods.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees and visitors.
Conduct regular premises patrols to detect and deter security threats.
Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
Operate surveillance equipment and report unusual activities or incidents.
Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents.
Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
Enforce company policies and procedures to protect employees and assets.
Conduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.
Assist customers with inquiries and requests.
Conduct emergency-procedure training and drills with other staff members.
