About The Position

The Arena Food Server receives and serves food and beverage orders from guests and may collect payment and make change. The role involves greeting guests, entering orders through a computerized guest check system, retrieving prepared orders from the kitchen, and delivering food and beverages. Servers maintain dining-room cleanliness and present guest checks, collecting payment or delivering it to a cashier as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to use a computer system to place food and beverage orders and process payments.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive and process food and beverage orders using a computerized guest check system.
• Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen and deliver them to guests.
• Carry and balance trays and/or push carts of food and beverages through the kitchen and dining room.
• Maintain cleanliness of all dining-room areas.
• Present checks to guests.
• Collect payment and/or deliver payment to the cashier.
