About The Position

American First Finance (AFF), a subsidiary of FirstCash Holdings, is seeking an Area Sales Representative to expand market presence and develop merchant partnerships in the assigned territory. The role focuses on building strong merchant relationships, maintaining customer satisfaction, generating new business, and meeting sales targets. It involves regular in-person travel to merchant locations and use of AFF’s CRM tools to manage sales activity. Compensation includes uncapped earning potential. The position is part of a company that provides lease-to-own and retail finance payment solutions through a nationwide network of retail merchant partners.

Requirements

At least 1 year of proven success in B2B outside sales, with measurable sales goal achievement.
Motivation and a performance-driven approach, with a desire to exceed expectations.
Strong organizational skills, integrity, and professionalism.
Face-to-face selling experience, with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Self-starter mindset and ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline.
Valid driver’s license and car insurance for regular travel within the assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

Extensive experience in retail consumer finance, merchant services, or SaaS.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow merchant relationships through consistent engagement and strong customer satisfaction.
Build and manage a pipeline of quality prospects within the assigned territory.
Visit 8–10 stores in person each day and secure 10 or more new merchant partners each month.
Meet or exceed sales targets and take accountability for performance and results.
Use AFF’s CRM tools to track interactions, manage leads, and optimize sales strategies.
Collaborate with internal Marketing, Training, and Sales Operations teams to support business success.
