About The Position

Community Concierge Services (CCS) is hiring an Area Operations Manager to lead employees, service quality, and client relationships across an assigned district. CCS provides doorstep waste and recycling collection for apartment communities nationwide and has more than 700 employees serving over 175,000 apartment homes each night. This full-time role combines evening field leadership with daytime recruiting, administrative work, and client communication. Peak operating hours are 6 p.m. to midnight, and evening and weekend availability is essential because service operates seven days a week. The position involves regular travel between properties and markets, and travel to neighboring areas may also be required. The manager arranges coverage for call-offs and no-shows and personally covers routes when other coverage options are exhausted. Daytime flexibility depends on completing responsibilities and operational needs; staffing or service issues may require work beyond typical operating hours. The position requires full-time commitment and cannot be performed alongside another full-time job. The fieldwork is physical and includes extended walking, repeated stair climbing, carrying bagged trash, and working outdoors. The company provides a vehicle for work-related use and covers work-related fuel and maintenance. Compensation is a $65,000 annual base salary, paid biweekly, plus a $10,000 annual performance-based bonus opportunity paid quarterly based on performance. Benefits include company-sponsored health insurance available for the employee and family and a 401(k) match of 4% on the first 5% contributed after 12 months. CCS offers flexibility in organizing daytime work around completed responsibilities and operational needs, as well as opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement as the company expands. The hiring process includes an onsite work preview to experience the service environment, understand physical demands, and discuss the schedule and day-to-day responsibilities before accepting an offer.
