The Area Manager oversees 8–12 shops and develops shop leaders while ensuring consistent operating standards, strong customer service, and performance against business targets. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working in a multi-unit leadership role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze data and business trends.
• Experience managing organizational change, adapting to evolving business needs, and guiding teams through new initiatives.
• Experience managing a budget and driving toward unit-level financial plan targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop Shop Managers and build a talent pipeline through the Manager in Training and Certified Training Shop Manager programs.
• Create a positive culture through recognition, accountability, and support, and ensure labor management aligns with business needs.
• Ensure consistent adherence to company standards and deliver exceptional customer service, as reflected in Net Promoter Scores and Google reviews.
• Reduce claims and maintain clean, professional facilities.
• Prioritize urgency in customer greetings and achieving 10-minute bay times.
• Use Power BI for daily performance analysis, focus on increasing car count, and coach on key performance indicators.
• Encourage competitiveness in meeting targets, ask Shop Managers data-driven questions, and troubleshoot performance outliers with the team.
• Teach and support inventory management, cash handling, recruiting, training programs, the employee life cycle from onboarding to termination, and the company handbook.
• Work in shops across the assigned market 3–4 days per week.
