About The Position

This is a student worker position in the architecture lab. The assistant will provide support to the Architecture Coordinator by staffing the plotter room, running student plots and scans, maintaining equipment, and monitoring supplies. The role requires excellent CADD and Adobe Creative Suite skills, and the ability to work flexibly around program needs.

Requirements

  • Must be advanced architecture student with excellent Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign and CADD skills required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
  • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
  • Previous experience with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign and CADD required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in the architecture lab to Architecture Coordinator.

  • Maintaining plotting logs.

  • Information architecture coordinator of any problems or issues in equipment or studios.
