About The Position

The Beck Group is seeking a qualified Architectural Project Coordinator II to join their team. This role involves being embedded in a project team, performing essential project tasks with moderate supervision on a wide range of building types including commercial, higher ed, liturgical, mixed-use, and/or healthcare. The candidate should be comfortable using 3D modeling tools such as Sketchup, Revit, and Photoshop, as Beck is an advanced user of these tools in the design process. The position requires active participation in owner meetings, collaboration with the project team, involvement from Schematic Design to Construction Administration, assistance with conceptual design and programming, and the ability to review submittals, generate punch lists, and answer RFIs during the Construction Administration phase. The role also involves independently solving problems, leading and directing specific aspects of the project including consultant coordination, enjoying teamwork, and mentoring/training younger staff.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant architecture experience
  • College graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degree
  • Pursuing licensure testing preferred
  • Comfortable using Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, and more
  • Understanding of the fundamental aspects of Architecture
  • Passion to get things done

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in owner meetings
  • Collaborate with the project team in all aspects of the project
  • Involvement in projects from Schematic Design to Construction Administration
  • Assist with development of conceptual design and programming
  • Ability to assist in the Construction Administration phase and able to review submittmits, generate punch lists, and answer RFIs
  • Independently solve problems encountered
  • Lead and direct specific aspects of the project including consultant coordination
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
